| SKUAST-Taj convenes 11th executive meet | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, May 6: An executive meet was held between the office bearers of SKUAST-Teaching Association Jammu (SKUAST-TAJ) under the chairmanship of its President, Dr. Vikas Sharma.
According to press release, several agendas pertaining to the overall welfare, better functioning and progress of the university were deliberated in the meeting and it was decided that the association should work for the betterment of the teaching fraternity in particular.
During the meeting it was impressed upon that there should be clearance of all pending CAS promotion cases with in shortest possible time as it is creating financial liability as well as delaying the promotions of varsity staff and up to date statutes of SKUAST-Jammu must be displayed on the university website for information of the employees of the Institution.The house also expressed unanimously for the preparation of the seniority list among all cadres of the teaching employees.
Dr. Vikas Sharma informed the house members that association is trying its level best to solve the issues related to teachers and further assured that the same will be solved very soon. Allotment of Ph.D students to Asstt./Assoc. Professors, normal fee for employee ward, sanitation facilities for faculty staff quarters were the other issues discussed in this 11th Executive Committee Meet of SKUAST - TAJ. The meeting was attended by Dr. Vivek M. Arya, Dr. P.K. Rai, Dr. Devinder Sharma, Dr Jai Kapoor, Dr. Vijay Bahadhur Singh, Dr. Vinod Gupta, Dr. Muneeshwar Sharma, Dr. Puneet Choudhary and others. |
