Jammu, May 6:A national seminar on the topic "Teacher's Initiative towards Quality and Value Education" was organized in multipurpose hall of Lal Bahadur Shastri College of Education, Rajbagh Kathua. According to press release, on the occasion Dr. Prof. Janak Singh Principal, Govt. Women College Kathua, was the Chief Guest while Prof. Yashpaul Sharma, Govt. Women College Kathua, was the guest of honor. Ganesh Shanker Vidharthi and Lakshmi Niwas Pandey H.O.D Education Deptt. Rashitrya Sanskrit Sansthan Garly (H.P) were the Guest of Honor. Chief Guest while interaction with the participants said that a teacher has to take initiative to improve the quality and value education. He said that states as well as central Govt. has introduce various policies and commissions from time to time to improve the system of the education but the results are not achieved as per the required standard. The main cause is that the policies are not implemented in real sense. The Chief Guest Prof Chaman Singh from Himachal Pradesh and Prof. Rajeev Divedi, Guru Teg Bahadur College of Education Maler Kotla Punjab also shared their views. Isha Sumberia Lect. In Education of Rajiv Gandhi College of Eduaction Kathua, Mohan Lal Lect. in Education Cosmic College of Education, Hannah Bharti of Guru Gang Dev College of Education Chann Arorian shared their views in the seminar. Minakshi Chouhan Lect. in Education, Savita Changotra Lect. in English, Miss Monika Sharma, Lect. in Mathematics, Miss Uma Sharma, Lect. in Computer Science and Aditi Sharma of Lal Bahadur Shastri College of Education Rajbagh Kathua also shared their views on this occasion. In the end, Dr. K.R Jha Principal of the College presented the vote of thanks. |
