Reasi, May 6: The Zonal Level Inter-School Tournament of Mahore Zone for Under-14 and Under-17 boys and girls in the disciplines of kabaddi, kho-kho, wrestling and volleyball organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports Reasi, begins today.
The Tournament was inaugurated by SDM Mahore-Subash Chander Dogra. District Sports Officer Reasi-Dr SS Chib, Principal HSS Mahore-JK Raina, members of PRIs and a large number of locals were also present on the occasion.
Dr Chib informed that a total of 124 students drawn from 07 Government and Private Schools of the zone will participate in the tournament.
Meanwhile, in kabaddi under-14 boys, Peer panchal High School trounced MS Mahore, while in kabaddi boys under-17 years, HSS Mahore drubbed Peer panchal High School Mahore. The under-14 boys kho-Kho title went to Peer panchal High School Mahore, which drubbed Mountaineering Convent School Mahore in the title clash and the under-17 boys Kho Kho tille went to HSS Mahore. |
