| 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan' continues on 2nd day at Heritage School | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 6: Heritage School could feel privileged of becoming the first school to join hands with Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) under 'Swach Bharat Abhiyan' which was launched on Tuesday under the guidance of Commissioner, Municipal Commissioner Jammu Soujanya Sharma.
According to school management, the Municipal Corporation is taking forward the nationwide awareness campaign initiated by the Prime Minister Narender Modi titled as Swachh Bharat Abhiyan to make Gandhi ji's dream of clean Indian to come to true. Municipal Corporation officers will be visiting the various schools in Jammu city under this programme.
During his visit to school campus, Commissioner JMC Soujanya Sharma accompanied with Sanjay, liaison officer with PMO, visited Heritage School for promoting 'Swachh Bharat campaign.
'The school; students continued the cleanliness drive within campus to maintain cleanliness and healthy surrounding within the campus and its surrounding localities on Wednesday also.The Principal Heritage School Jagadish Singh Dhami has appreciated role of students in cleanliness drive and also expressed his gratitude to Soujanya Sharma Commissioner JMC for motivating students to participate in 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.' |
