| Sat Sharma, Soujanya Sharma review condition of Shakti Nagar | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, May 6: BJP MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma with JMC Commissioner Soujanya Sharma visited ward number 30, 31 and 32 of Talab Tillo area accompanied by local residents, political and social activists of the area. In a statement issued here, Sat Sharma said that a fruitful visit to the areas was made which will give a positive output for the future as well.
He said that as discussed with the JMC Commissioner some lanes including drains in the areas need a lot of attention and the construction works for those will be started in a stipulated period of time. He also said that JMC is doing its best to provide proper sanitation services in Jammu West and a proper Sanitation drive is also required in the Constituency in order to build a clean aura. During their visit to the Shakti Nagar Shamshan Ghat, the MLA and the Commissioner found out that there is a dire requirement of repairing of water tank inside the premises and proper shedding is also the requirement as majority of the area is uncovered in Shamshan Ghat. They also stressed upon improving the Toilets and creating infrastructure for bathing facility for women inside it. Sharma stated that with the help of CDF (Constituency Development Fund) of the MLA, MP and funds of JMC, the work for the same will be started soon so that such a valuable spot could be maintained properly. |
