| JCC hails enhancement of relief for migrants | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 6: Jagti Co-ordination Committee Jagti Township Nagrota Jammu thanked Revenue and Rehabilitation Minister, Relief Commissioner for redressing the long pending demand of Kashmiri Migrants by enhancing the cash assistance relief from the current month.
As per release, the inmates of Jagti township have expressed their gratitude to the Chief Engineer, PHE for construction of dug well for ensuring proper and regular drinking water supplies to the residents of this township besides ensuring streamlining of the water supplies from the previous water supply scheme. The members of JCC stressed upon the need to restrict free bus services during Khir Bhawani Yatra as it involved huge expenses which need to be utilized for the development of Jagti Township. Pertinently, many KPs organizations, yesterday including JCC staged massive protest demonstration in front of Relief Commissioner office at Canal Road in support of their long pending demands including enhancement of monthly cash relief. |
