Srinagar, May 6: Srinagar Police today claimed to have apprehended three persons in Karan Nagar area of summer capital and recovered 6924 counterfeit US Dollars from their possession. "The accused have been identified namely as Mohammad Yousuf s/o Abdul Rehim of Handwara, Manzoor Ahmad Lone s/o Mohammad Maqbool of Check Sadool Handwara and Showket Hussain Chowdary s/o Raham Ali of Groon Bagh Rajouri," police sources said "Following specific input, a police party of Police Station Karan Nagar observed movement of three suspects at Karan Nagar Chowk, police sources said. They said that upon their frisking police recovered counterfeit 6924 US dollars from them. Police sources said that a case against FIR number 27/2015 u/s 420, 489-B, 489-C RPC has been registered against them and investigation has been taken up.
