| Centre thinking to announce two AIIMS for J&K | | | | Jammu, May 6: Some groups in Jammu region are trying their best to flare up the issue of setting up AIIMS in Kashmir Valley with the connivance of a group with BJP, some sincere leaders of BJP are in touch with PDP to solve this issue amicable. This group of BJP are working round the clock to ensure that coalition must solve this issue by fulfilling wishes and aspirations of the people of both the regions. Credible sources in the BJP said that central leadership of BJP has taken serious note of the "irresponsible" utterance of some party leaders who are trying to create wedge between BJP and PDP on this issue. Highcommand has asked these leaders not to speak any thing about AIIMS controversy before taking all leaders into confidence. BJP leadership has made it clear that AIIMS is very minor issue and such issues should not be allowed to create hurdle in the functioning of the government. Sources said that a senior central leader of the BJP has told that another AIIMS for any other region can be announced by the Union Health Ministry so it would be wrong to allow anti-BJP forces to exploit this issue further. Credible sources in the BJP said that party leadership is seriously thinking to announce two such medical institutions in J&K to frustrate designs of those who are working to create divide between BJP and PDP. Central government, sources said, would take example of setting up two Central Universities in J&K to set up two AIIMS. Central leadership, sources said, has asked local leaders to have patience and very soon party would come out with a formula to solve this controversy. |
