| 5 shops, 2 houses gutted in Doda fire | | | Early Times Report
Bhaderwah, Sept 25: Five shops and two residential houses were today damaged in a fire in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir. There was no report of anybody being hurt in the fire which broke out in the wee hours at Trainka village in Bhaderwah tehsil of Doda district, officials said. A short circuit had sparked the fire, which started in one of the shops and later spread to the other establishments and residential buildings, they said.
The fire was extinguished by the villagers, they said, adding that fire tenders could not reach the area as only light motor vehicles can ply on the under-construction road leading to the site. |
