Jammu, Feb 20: Jammu University Non Teaching Employees Union (JUNTEU) today celebrated its annual day amidst great zest, vibrancy and elation at General Zorawar Singh Auditorium Complex, University of Jammu.
Dr. Meenakshi Kilam, Registrar, was the Guest of Honour. Among other presents were Prof. Keshav Sharma, Dean Academic Affairs, Prof. Satnam Kour, Dean Student Welfare, Sanjeev Mahajan, Controller of Examinations, Directors, Faculty members, Officers and Non-teaching Employees.
The programme commenced with the lighting of the Ceremonial lamp by the Vice-Chancellor, escorted by the other dignitaries.
This entailed the bouquet presentation and pinning of badges. The Organising Secretary, Vikas Langer started the proceeding of the annual day function followed by the formal welcome address by the President, JUNTEU. An impressive cultural programme was also the part of the event.
This was followed by the Prize Distribution ceremony among the participants who have displayed their exceptional talent during the cultural events. The vote of thanks was proposed by Ashwani Bakshi, Vice-President. The anchors of the Cultural Programme were Vikas Langer and Shehnaz Akhter. |
