Jammu, Feb 20 : In continuation to operation 'Sanjeevani', a special drive against drugs launched by Jammu Police, Miran Sahib police today arrested a drug peddler and recovered 5.5 gram heroin from his possession. Police spokesman said that after getting specific information Police Team of Miran Sahib police station apprehended one person from Kullian. "On his personal search police party recovered 5.5 grams of heroin like substance", said spokesman adding that in this regard a case under FIR No. 29/2018 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Miran Sahib and further investigation of the case is going on. The arrest and recovery was made by SHO Miran Sahib, Inspector Ajit Singh along with in-charge Border Police Post (BPP) Kullian, Yougal Sharma under the supervision of Surinder Choudhary, SDPO RS Pura and SP Hqrs. Jammu, Ramesh Chander Kotwal. |
