SBI distributes cheques, sanction letters of Mudra Loan

Jammu, Feb 20: State Bank of India, Jammu & Kashmir module today organized a programme to distribute Cheques and sanction letters of Pradhan Mantri Mudra Loan scheme to around 500 beneficiaries amounting to Rs. 13 crores. Dr. Jitendra Singh, Minister of State (independent charge), Govt. of India was the chief guest of this function. Mudra loan beneficiaries were from districts of Udhampur, Kathua & Jammu and other parts of the State. SBI's Chief General Manager Anil Kishora, General Manager Abhijit Majumder and Dy. General Manager Manoj Mehrotra shared the dais with Dr. Jitendra Singh.
Majumder welcomed chief guest and all the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Mudra loan. Anil Kishora gave brief details of contribution made by State Bank of India to make Mudra Yojna and other digital initiatives of Govt. of India a success.
CGM Anil Kishora stressed upon giving loans to the weaker section of the society to make them self-reliant. Dr. Jitendra Singh distributed Mudra Loan Sanction letters to beneficiaries. A pick up van was given to a beneficiary for picking up Gas cylinders which earlier he used to pick on his shoulders. In his address Dr. Jitendra Singh lauded efforts of SBI in making Mudra Yojna and other Govt. initiatives successful. He congratulated all the beneficiaries of Mudra Loan and wished them good luck for their enterprises.
State Bank of India has so far given Mudra loan to the beneficiaries in the State of Jammu & Kashmir to the tune of more than Rs. 200 crores and has set a higher target for this year. Pradhan Mantri Mudra Loan has provided financial help to its beneficiaries to expand their businesses or to start a new business.
