| PNB fraud: CBI raids house of Colonel's brother in Jammu | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 20: In connection with the fraud of Punjab National Bank (PNB), a team of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Tuesday raided a house at Domana icn city outskirts here.
Sources said that the team raided the house of Yashpal at Gho Manhasa. Yasphal is brother of the former Colonel who had managed to get Rs 3 crore from the bank with the help of the main accused in Punjab National Bank (PNB) fraud.
According to the information, CBI team arrived in the house in the morning and the searched the house for a long time while family members were also questioned by the team.
Some documents were also seized during the raid. "During investigation CBI came to know that Colonel had taken Rs 3 crore loan from PNB with the help of the main accused and soon after the detection of fraud he is absconding", said a source adding that search for the Colonel is on.
Sources said the Colonel is presently settled at Pune and runs a security agency there. His agency provides security at many places, including banks and hospitals. |
