| AIFTP-NZ organizes Jammu Tax conference | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 24: Jammu Tax Conference 2018 was today Jammu which was organized by All India Federation of Tax Practitioners North Zone (AIFTP - NZ) and Tax Bar Association (TBA) Jammu.
The main objective of the conference is to discuss the "Role Of Tax Professionals and Practitioners" into direct and indirect taxes after the role and implementation of new tax reform in India GST (Goods and Services Tax).
The conference was commenced with the lightening of traditional lamp by the Chief Guest Justice Badar Durrez Ahmed Chief Justice J&K High Court accompanied by AIFTP (NZ) National President Ganesh Purohit, Secretary General Pankaj Ghiya, and Tax Bar Association President Adv. Sunil Sharma and elected executive body of AIFTP (NZ) & TBA Jammu.
Thereafter present of mementoes to Chief Guest and other dignitaries by senior most advocates of TBA Jammu and vice versa.
The conference proceedings were presided over by Adv. Sachin Sharma and Adv. Gagan Aneja.
The dignitaries Guest of Honours who graced the occasion were SK Sharma Additional Commisioner Income Tax Jammu, Anu Malhotra Additional Commisioner (Admin) Commercial Taxes Department Jammu, Ruveda Salam & Manzoor Ahmed Shah Assistant Commisioner Income Tax Jammu.
Justice Badar Durrez Ahmed emphasised on the role of Tax Professionals in the new era of Tax Reforms in India. He put more stress on the role and working of Advocates in the society.
On the occasion, President TBA Jammu Adv. Sunil Sharma said that first time the national level conference on role of Tax Professionals was held in our city of national level conference on role of Tax Professionals was held in our city of temples Jammu. |
