| Women are the real architects of society: Sham Sharma | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 9: Prajapati Brahma Kumari's Ishwariya Vishav Vidalya in collaboration with Tiny Aspirants Public Higher Secondary School, Jourian organized a debate competition on women empowerment in the premises of School. The function was presided over by BK Asha Behan.
Sr vice president J&K PCC and former minister Sham Lal Sharma was the chief guest on the occasion while BK Rattan Bhai was the special guest on the occasion.
The function started with the lightening of traditional lamp by the chief guest and thereafter participants from various schools presented their different views on women empowerment.
The function was appreciated by the chief guest who in his address admired the efforts of Prajapati Brahma Kumari's spiritual Mission and Tiny Aspirants Public Higher Secondary School for organizing such short but impressive function on women's day.
Sham Lal in his speech called for attitudinal change in people's mindset to protect the rights of women folk in the society so that they could contribute in the socio-economic development of the country without any fear and stress.
Former Minister lauded the role of women in the socio-economic development of the country since the independence of India. B K Rattan Bhai also addressed the gathering which was stressed for providing moral education to both the boys and girls.
He also said that there is only a way to uplift the society that is education. |
