SAMBA, Mar 9: The locals of Samba along with various social organizations staged a strong protest demonstration against the state government to press for the demand of holding a CBI inquiry into Asifa murder case.
A large number of people along with the members of Hindu Ekta Manch assembled at Samba Fort and moved towards Jammu-Pathankot National Highway in the shape of a rally.

Lashing out at Minister for Industries and Commerce, Chander Parkash Ganga and Minister for Forests, Lal Singh for not keeping their promise of ordering a CBI inquiry, the protesters said that the ministers' have failed to maintain their assurances made during their visit to Koota.
While talking with media persons, president of Amar Kshatriya Rajput Sabha Samba, Inder Singh said why the state government is keeping mum adding that if the government does not go for a thorough probe from the CBI, they will continue their protest.
