JAMMU, Mar 9: Women Day was celebrated at Tawi Technical Campus. A good number of boys and girls expressed their views on the subject. All of them threw light on the Women Empowerment in all walks of life even in the field of Army and Air force. In order to Support their opinion they tried to compare the position of women in India just after Independence and the Position of Women in the Modern Era. Some speakers threw light on the various scheme that the government of India introduced for the welfare of girl Child and women in particular. Prize was distributed among the winners Shefali, Tania, Gautam bagged First, Second and third prize respectively. Dr. Deepak Sharma and Er. Anuj Tidyal acted as judge. Prof. B.R. Moza Special secretary to the Chairman And Col. Hari Singh Administrative officer distributed prizes among the students. Dr. Rajat Arora, Dean Research, Er. Pooja Kapoor, Dean Academics, Seema Yadav HOD Applied Sciences added grace and charm to the occasion by displaying audio Visual clips highlighting the Empowerment of Women in different fields. |
