Early times Report JAMMU, Mar 9: The Cultural Club Spice of YCET organized a competition-cum-awareness programme Nukkad Natak on the occasion of International Women's Day. The programme held in the campus of IECS Polytechnic, Purkhoo Camp, Domana, Jammu. The programme was organized to pay tribute to every woman & to salute her immense contribution. International Women's Day is all about feeling women to realize their worth and giving them boost to achieve as per their actual potential. Various nataks were dramatized by the students of different departments of YCET. Each team comprising of ten members show cased their talent in dramatizing the evils against the women & to give emphasis on this fact that we still need to work to fill the gap completely that had existed from ages. It was a strong competition between the teams where the first prize was bagged by the team from CSE department and the second position was bagged by Civil Engineering department. The programme was graced by the presence of Th. Shiv Dev Singh Jamwal, Vice Chairman JGEI, Prof. K.G Gupta, Principal IECS, Er. Amit Sharma, Vice Principal IECS, Ajay Jamwal, Dean IECS, Dr. Sandeep Malik, Dean YCET, Prof. B.K Ambasta and the team of Cultural Cell. The programme was successfully coordinated by Arti Tickoo and the team of cultural cell. |
