JAMMU, Mar 9: In a visit that is likely to have a far reaching impact on the process of peace and trust building, world renowned humanitarian and the founder of the Art of Living Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar is arriving in Srinagar on Saturday, 10th March, 2018. He has been invited by common people of Kashmir, who have formed the J&K Coordination Committee (JKCC). The idea behind organising this event is to find a lasting solution to the age old Kashmir conflict.
The event will take place at SKICC Srinagar from 2pm onwards, where Sri Sri and other prominent members of the civil society will address the gathering.
Hundreds of local Kashmiris joined hands to organise an apolitical mega event at Srinagar on Saturday christened as "Paigam-e-Mohabbat", which is expected to see participation of thousands of people from different walks of life, irrespective of their background and socio-political, socio-economic and socio-cultural identities. |
