MLA refutes charges leveled by widow | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 4: MLA Ramnagar has refuted the allegations raised by a lady wherein she had alleged that a piece of land which she owned was usurped by the former and his supporters. In a statement, MLA Ramnagar clarified that without any substantial proof or justification, the lady had leveled wild and baseless allegations against him. He hoped that the revenue authorities shall act on the complaint of Nirmala Devi Wd/o Lt Sh Lal Singh R/O Palnoo, Majalta and administer justice to her. He averred that the complainant lady had not mentioned the name of any single officer or official who has received any instruction or call from him for interfering in this issue. The Legislator rued that the lady had tried to unnecessary cast slur on the MLA and create an issue out of thin air. The issue projected with too much fanfare is just a cry in wilderness and at the most is a personal dispute between two parties with which the MLA has least to do with. An unsuccessful attempt has been made to create storm in the tea-cup and that even at the behest and instance of interested parties for which we reserved the right to prosecute the guilty under relevant provisions of law. |
