| Attachment nexus in SED affects education in Udhampur villages | | | Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Apr 4: The deep rooted attachment nexus in the School Education Department is spoiling career of poor and innocent students of far flung areas in district Udhampur.
Hundreds of teachers/ masters mainly the ReTs/ RRTs/ RRT 3rd teachers are being attached in the cities by the CEO Udhampur. These attachments were made in the garb of ' Utilisation of Services'/ Need Basis/ Deployment/ Deputation /Internal Arrangement, etc. The teachers attached mainly are the RET/RRT/ 3rd teachers .These teachers were appointed on the basis of village level merit to serve in their respective villages as per the provisions of ReT policy.
But the Chief Education Officer Udhampur attached hundreds of ReT/RRT/3rd teachers from different zones in the Udhampur town or nearby surroundings in contravention of ReT recruitment policy.
The studies of students are affected badly as many schools in the far flung areas of Chenani/ Panchari/ Ghordi Zones went understaffed. Many Primary/ Middle Schools are being run by single teachers.
The CEO Udhampur is effecting these attachments individually and very secretly and has also instructed his subordinates not to disclose these orders.
Some teachers are attached under different titles year after year. Whereas some teachers who are hardworking and honest are working in their original place of postings sincerely since their appointment and were not attached by the CEO anywhere even for a single day.
The CEO Udhampur misled the higher authorities about these attachments.
Vigilance probe in the deep rooted attachment scams/nexus be conducted and stern action against the defaulters as well as the erring officer be taken benches all these attachments in the District Udhampur be cancelled. |
