Govt imposes ban on transfers in Education epartment

Jammu, Apr 4: The government of Jammu and Kashmir today imposed complete ban on transfers of Teachers, Masters, Lecturers and Headmasters of winter zone of Kashmir as well as Jammu Division like Kishtwar, Doda, Ramban and other areas.
As per the circular issued by the Education Department vide Circular No. 7-Edu of 2018 Dated 4-4-2018 issued by Deputy Secretary to Government, School Education Department on behalf of Secretary to Government School Education Department, the circular with endorsement No. Edu/Gen/25/97-Part File stated that "In view of the beginning of the academic session in Kashmir Division and Winter Zone of Jammu Division and in pursuance of government Order No. 622-Edu of 2015, Dated 22-12-2015-it is herby order that the Directors of School Education Kashmir/Jammu as well as all their subordinates officers (Winter Zone) shall not affect any mid-term transfers of teachers, masters, lectures and headmasters except rationalization wherever required, till further orders" read the circular.
The circular further stated that while undertaking renationalization, the sub ordinate officers shall obtain prior approval of the respective Directors of School Education.
