Jammu, Apr 4: A delegation of Shri Kailakh Jyotish Avim Vedic Sansthan Trust under the presidentship of Mahant Rohit Shastri today called on Honorary Secretary, IRCS, Jammu Region Dinesh Gupta.
On occasion trust president Mahant Rohit Shastri said that the Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) is a voluntary humanitarian organization to protect human life and health based in India, It is part of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, and so shares the Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.
The main objective of society is to provide relief in the time of disasters/emergencies and promoting health and care of vulnerable people and communities.
Mahant Rohit Shastri said youth must have to participate in this movement and he also represented Shri Ragvendra Panchang to Indian Red Cross society's secretary Dinesh Gupta, under his leadership Red Cross Society do tremendous work for society. On occasion Dr. Rajinder Thappa, Dr. M.L. Sharma (Retd) DMO, J&k famous social activist Rajinder Magotra and other members of trust were also present. |
