Early Times Report

Jammu, Apr 15: Referring to the statement of a NC leader about Congress, Manjeet Singh said, National Conference should look into itself first and then give statments about Congress which always promote brotherhood, national intergration and above all believes in nation first, not only through words but from actions also by sacrificing their leaders. He further said that congress wil not compromise on secularism at any cost as it is not power hungry political party but party for the development of India. NC is a party which can do anything for power, its elected members of Legislative Assembly should slogans in favour of Pakistan and no action had taken till date.
In a meeting held today at village Gagore, Former Minister Manjeet Singh while addressing the gathering said that Congress demands strict punishment for the rapists of kathua case and demands to run the case in fast track court. Today NC talks about bortherhood, secularism but what happened to its values when Omar Abdullah joined BJP as a minister in union Government. He questioned the NC leaders right from top who did not condemned the incident of kathua and when seeing whole India is on boil they changed their colour and expelled its member from party. They should have taken action against such member earlier itself, he said.
He further said that NC is a power hungry party and can join any party for power by comprising the core values, which they are talking now. He stressed that congress party has absolutely rejected the policies of BJP and in no condition it can compromise on its values in future.
He thanked the people of J&K for maintaing the peace and come out in large numbers in support of kathua rape victim. He said, the aftermath of this incident has cleared the minds of various parties.
