Amritsar, Apr 20: Indian Society for Surgery of the Hand, which is a premier body working in India, to promote the recent developments in the field of Hand Surgery worldwide, is organizing a 2 days National Conference in the holy city of Amritsar from 21st April to 22nd April, 2018 in association with Amandeep Hospitals & Clinics. Confirming this, Dr. Ravi Mahajan, Chief Plastic Surgeon, Amandeep Group, who is also organizing Chairperson for this conference, said that this is Mid Term CME, which is being organized in Amritsar. This is a matter of pride for us to hold such a prestigious Conference in the holy city because specialists from all over the country will be attending the conference & it will surely benefit the local upcoming Plastic & Orthopedic Surgeon of the region, who are interested in hand surgery & thus the benefit will be passed on to the patients of the region. He informed that Dr. Raj Bahadur, VC, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences will be Patron-in-Chief, Dr. Abraham G. Thomas, Dr. Hardas Singh & Dr. KJS Mander will be patrons of this conference. Apart from others, trustees of the Society Prof. G Balakrishnan, Prof. Bhaskaranand Kumar & Dr. S Raja Sabapathy will be attending the conference. In the 2 days conference, topics like- General Principles of Hand Surgery, Examination of injured hand, Nail Bed Injuries, Finger Tip Injuries, Management of acute hand burns, post burn hand deformities, electric burn upper limb salvage, wrist arthroscopy, rehabilitation after hand surgery and all other recent developments in the field of hand surgery will be discussed by various faculty members of the society. |
