JKHCBA submits memorandum to SC led delegation, resumes work | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 20: The Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association submitted a memorandum to the Supreme court led delegation visiting Jammu to take stock of the situation erupted following protests by lawyers of Kathua Bar Association, obstructing Crime Branch from filing chargesheet. According to press release, the Jammu Bar Association clarified their stance on various aspects of the agitation and portrayal of their agitation in bad light. On each point they clarified their stance and alleged that their agitation was wrongly portrayed by national media that it was in favour of the accused but the agitation was actually for some other issues, especially the deportation of Rohingyas from Jammu and controversial minutes of meetings of tribal ministry. They hoped that the team of Bar Council of India would understand their stance on various issues. |
