| RBI organizes lecture on financial literacy and banking ombudsman | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 20: A highly informative Guest Lecture on 'Financial Literacy and Banking Ombudsman' was delivered by officials from Reserve Bank of India at Sainik School Nagrota.
According to press release, P Shimrah, Banking Ombudsman and HS Verma, Secretary to Office of Banking Ombudsman spoke at length on various aspects of financial management, net banking and safety tips for using debit and credit cards for online transactions.
They also explained all the safety measures that must be followed while using ATM facility, secrecy to be adopted to secure OTP, CVV number etc. The lecture was followed by an interactive session in which a large number of staff and cadets got their queries answered by experts in the field of banking.
On conclusion of the event, the audience expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the guest speakers with a resounding applause. Captain (IN) A Muthuraman, Principal lauded the Guest speakers for presenting complex details in easily comprehensible terms to the young cadets of the school. As a gesture of goodwill and encouragement, sumptuous refreshment was distributed by RBI, Jammu to the cadets of the school. |
