Jammu, May 8: A beauty parlour management programme conducted by SBI Rural Self Employment Training Institute (SBI-RSETI) Jammu concluded at Roop Nagar. 35 women candidates from different parts of Jammu District participated. On this occasion, certificates of participation were distributed by Sh. Bhupendera Singh, Lead District Manager, SBI, AO Jammu and Nishant Deol, Executive Officer, KVIB Jammu. They interacted with the candidates and guided them for taking Self Employment and motivated them to stand on their own. Singh elaborated the MUDRA loan scheme and motivated the candidates to avail the facility of MUDRA loan to start their business ventures. He also assured the candidates to extend every possible help to them in getting credit linked through banks. Deol addressed the candidates about Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) and motivated them to take maximum benefits of the PMEGP scheme. Vakil Dass from KVIB was also present to grace the function. Director, RSETI, Tilak Raj maintained that many training programmes would be covered depending upon local requirements and programmes like -Cutting & Tailoring, A.C. & Refrigeration, Electrical Home Appliances repair, Computer Basics, Soft toys maker & seller, Beauty Parlor Management , Mobile Repair, Computer Hardware & DTP etc. will be conducted.
