1800 Bottles of corex recovered

Jammu, May 8 : In continuation to operation Sanjeevani, a special drive against drugs launched by Jammu Police, Manwal police today claimed to have recovered 1800 Bottles of intoxicative substance from a truck.
police spokesman said that today police party of police post Manwal while on naka duty at Nadal, Manwal signaled one truck bearing registration number JK01P-8713 which was on way towards Srinagar to stop for police checking, on seeing the police the truck driver left the vehicle and fled away from the spot.
"During search of the vehicle, police party recovered 1800 Bottles of Maxcoft/Corex (intoxicative substance) which he was carrying without any permission", said spokesman adding that in this connection a case under FIR No. 39/2018 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Jhajjar Kotli police station and further investigation of the case is going on.
The recovery of intoxicative substance and seizure of above said truck was made by in-charge police post Manwal, SI Suresh Sharma under the supervision of Inspector Ajay Singh SHO Jhajjar Kotli, SDPO Nagrota, Yashbir Singh Slathia and SP Rural, Shivdeep Singh Jamwal.
