| Dr Gian Singh's three stage plays released | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 17: Samooh Theatre and Sanskar Bharti Jammu and Kashmir today jointly held a book release function here at K L Saigal Hall.
On the occasion, senior advocate DC Raina was the chief guest while DK Vaid, a noted Dogri writer and convener Sahitya Academy, New Delhi presided over the function.
ND Jamwal, was the guest of honour while Mohan singh noted Dogri dramatist and theatre activist presented his research paper on the three plays of Dr Gian Singh namely Bawa Jitmal, Saa-Basaa and Bawa Kaliveer and also shared the presidium.
Raina while congratulating Dr Gian Singh said that Dr Singh is honest and dedicated man and serving the Dogri language since the past so many years due to which the Dogri language is enriching and standard of writing is elevating .
Two scenes from the plays Bawa Jitmal and Kaliveer were also enacted by the artists of Samooh Theatre which mesmerized the audience present on this occasion. |
