Kathua, June 13: The ten day Summer Camp organized at Kartar Public School (KPS) concluded today amidst fun and frolic. The camp attended by a large number of students from KPS and other schools started on fourth June. It was inaugurated by Er. Nirmaljit Singh, Chairman of the school. He felt that it is necessary to awaken the creative spirit of children through such leisure activities. The participants had a wonderful time enjoying activities like roller-skating, making mehendi designs, cooking skills, dancing, art and craft, yoga, abacus, pottery, stone painting, clay modeling, embroidery and theatre. Certificates were given away to the participants. While concluding the camp, Harpreet Kaur, Secretary-cum-Principal of the school, thanked the participants for their zeal and enthusiasm. She advised them to continue with creative hobbies and activities throughout their lives. She said that Kartar Public School is going to come up with more such activities shortly to carve out a niche space in the education sector. She also congratulated the teaching staff who generously contributed to gift some snacks and condiments to the subordinate staff of the school before going for the summer break. |
