samba, Aug 13: NSS Unit of Govt. Degree College Samba conducted a cleanliness campaign as a part of Swachhta Phagwara Programme at Veer Bhumi Park Samba paying tribute to martyrs/ warriers of Samba district who sacrifices their lives for saving boundaries of nation in different wars. As many as 40 NSS voluntrees participated in the compaign under the supervision of Prof. Shivali Rattan NSS PO, Dr. Ram Singh and Dr. Narsing Dass. NSS Volunteers cleaned the War memorial, picked up wrappers, straws, dry useless vegetation. NSS volunteers urged the public to keep the tourist spots clean, as it is the responsibility of each one of us. Principal GDC Samba, Dr. Gurdev Singh Rakwal louded the volunteers for getting involved in social activity.
