Jammu, Aug 18: On the very sad demise of Bharat Rattan former Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee and to pay him homage and rich tributes, the J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu, organized a special Shardanjali Samaroh in J&K High Court at Jammu today 18th of August, 2018. The Bar Association had also suspended work for the day in all Courts including the High Court as mark of respect to the departed soul.
All the lawyers' present on the occasion after laying floral wreaths observed two minutes silence in the memory of departed soul. B.S. Slathia Sr. Adv. President, Leela Karan Sharma Sr .Adv. Sunil Sethi Sr. Adv & Former President , H.C. Jalmeria Adv., Chander Mohan Sharma Adv, Member State Human Rights Commission, Ranjit Singh Jamwal Adv. Former Secretary, Prem Sadotra, Adv Gen. Secretary, Ch. Zulkar Nain Adv., Irtza Mushtaq Salaria Adv. Spoke on the occasion. The speakers remembered with reverence the life and contributions of Late Vajpayee to India and the world. He was a great statesman, thinker, Poet par excellence besides an activist in politics.
His all inclusive approach in finding solutions to various problems and issues faced by the Nation was highly appreciated. The speakers said that Vajpayee Ji was much above the divisions of party politics or any other regional, religious or parochial considerations. His role in parliament has raised the standard of parliamentary democracy in India and is a model to be followed by the present day parliamentarians. |
