POONCH, Aug 18: Amid the chanting, the first batch of nearly 1500 pilgrims of Shri Budha Amarnathji Yatra today morning left for Shri Budha Amarnath ji Shrine at Mandi from Dashnami Akhara, Poonch.
Earlier, District Development Commissioner, Rahul Yadav received the first batch of pilgrims on Friday evening. The DDC was accompanied by SSP Rajiv Pandey, ADC Basharat Hussain, other officials of District Administration and Members of civil society of the district. The DDC welcomed the pilgrims and ensured them for their hassle free stay in the district during pilgrimage. |
