Civil society welcomes Buddha Amarnath pilgrims | | | Early Times Report MANDI, Aug 18: Shamim Ganai along with other prominent civil society members received first batch of Buddha Amarnath Pilgrims at Tehsil Mandi, the yatries were given a warm welcome by the civil society Mandi. While total of 2500 pilgrims had their obeisance at the holy cave budha Amarnarh mandi. Shamim Ganai told media' we should living in brotherhood is the speciality of Tehsil Mandi nd strengthening the bonds among various section of the society. Ganai also said that historic town Mandi is an epitome of secularism and brotherhood where people of all faith are living in peace and brotherhood for centuries. Budha Amarnath Yatra is a very significant events and attracts the entire nation. "It is very prestiguous programme for jammu & kashmir in particular Budha Amarnath teh mandi , They are our guest and we are very hopeful it will be successful yatra" Ganai said. Prominent members of the civil society Mandi who were present on this occassion include, Shamim Ganai Tehsildar Mandi Zahier Rana, BDO Mandi subash chander, Molvi faried , Abdul Ahad Bhatt,Tariq Hussain, sarpanch farooq Ahmed ,Dr ghulam Abbas, kifayat hussain. |
