| NHM Employees thank Advisor Kumar for release of salary | | |

SRINAGAR, Aug 18: The All J&K NHM Employees Association has thanked K Vijay Kumar, Advisor to Governor, for release of salary and other incentives in favour of employees ahead of Eid-ul-Azha.
The Association also expressed gratitude to Principal Secretary Health & Medical Education Dr Pawan Kotwal, Mission Director NHM Dr Mohan Singh and Director Finance H&ME Rafiq Ahmad for their special efforts in release of the funds meant for salary and other mission activities.
The employees had expressed concern over non-availability of funds for salary and other NHM activities, including incentives for ASHAs, for last three months and had urged the government to ensure release of salary ahead of the Eid festival.
As per officials sufficient funds for release of salary and meeting out liabilities of other activities were released on Thursday to different districts.
Expressing gratitude, the Association reminded the Advisor about commitments made by then Minister for Health to employees in January 2018 and sought fulfillment of the same without further delay. |
