 Udhampur, Aug 18: Students Council members of DPS Udhampur for the current academic session were sworn at a Grand Ceremony at MPH, amidst in air of enthusiasm and anticipation. After a traditional welcome, the Principal of the school Dr. Kunal Anand, introduced the Chief Guest for the day Ravinder Kumar (IAS), DC Udhampur, Guest of Honour Rayees Mohd Bhat (IPS), SSP Udhampur, Dr. J. C. Gupta (Pro-Vice Chairman DPS,UDH), Vivek Gupta M.D ,DPS Udhampur, Academic Director Sucheta Gupta. He further expressed his gratitude to the parents, for gracing the occasion with their presence and he went on to motivate the new students with suitable words of encouragement. A scintillating dance performance was given by the students. The audience was awestruck to see the performance of the kids. A total of 30 new members were given their respective sashes and sworn in beginning with the Head Boy Saksham Gupta (XII) and Head Girl Tanisha Mankotia. |
