JAMMU, Aug 18: The Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Santhan (BLSKS) presented a mega cultural programe here today at Open Air Theatre, Durga Bhawan Janipur in coordination with Sangam True Art Production, Sarasvati Sangeet Vidyalaya and National Computer Education Institute Jammu. The programme was organized specially for Machail Mata yatris.
The programe was inaugurated by Pt Daya Nand, who was chief guest. V K Magotra, former Regional Director of Field Publicity, Dr Tara Singh Charak, Former Deputy Director Health Department J&K Government. Traditional folk culture of Jammu province and special awareness items prepared on the theme of "Beti Bachao Beti Padao", "Swatch Bharat", "Ujjwala", "Pardhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojna" were presented. On the occasion , the artists presented "Shiv Satuti", " "Chan" , "Hikdu" , " Saldri Thara", "Jai Jai Shiv Shanker" and few others.
Addressing the gathering, M L Dogra, highlighted the significance f holy Divya Jyoti of Chandi Mata and also explained aims and objectives of the programme which have been assigned to the Sansthan for betterment of society.
