| SVVM to donate Rs 1,01000 for Kerala flood victims | | |

JAMMU, Aug 22: A meeting of Swami Vivekananda Medical Mission (SVMM) was held under the chairmanship of Prof C L Gupta in his office chamber to discuss the modalities of the donations to be given as relief and rehabilitation for the people of Kerala, who were badly hit by the recent rains and floods which is declared as a national calamity. Most of the members of the mission were present in the meeting.
It was unanimously decided by all the members present in the meeting that Rs One lakh one thousand to the Prime Minister's Relief Fund for extending a helping hand to the people of Kerala. The Mission also expressed its sympathy to the families who have lost the lives of their kith and kins and prayed to the almighty to give enough courage to the affected families to bear the irreparable loss.
