Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 22: A meeting of various Sikh organizations of J&K was held under the chairmanship of Sudershan Singh Wazir Chairman Sikh United Front J&K and Ex-President J&K State Gurdwara Prabhandak Board. The other organizations, who participated in the meeting include Shiromani Akali Dal, Bhai Kanahya Nishkam Sewa Society, AISSF, Sikh Welfare Society, Sikh Naujwan Sabha and members of DGPC Jammu.
The participants strongly condemned the attack on president Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) Manjeet Singh, GK, along with his family at New York in USA by anti-social elements. The participants said that the attack on G. was not at him but on the whole Sikh community. The Sikh community in India and abroad expressed their shock and anguish over the attack on a peaceful, innocent and patriotic Indian Sikh leader who is a true dedicated leader for all. He always raises the issues of community within India and outside. Moreover, where ever any nature calamities like flood, and earthquake occurs the said leader helps the needy persons with food clothes and money for their rehabilitation. The attack on him and his family is intolerable.
The Sikh organizations demanded from US government to take strict action against the culprits under law who had assaulted innocent family and a patriotic leader of India.
