New Delhi, Aug 22: With unprecedented rains bringing the state of Kerala to a standstill, the whole country has been trying to help those in distress. India skipper Virat Kohli dedicated the comprehensive 203-run win over England in the third Test at Trent Bridge to the victims after winnings the Man of the Match award for his effort of 97 and 103 in the match.
BCCI took to Twitter to announce the same. "#TeamIndia Skipper @imVkohli on behalf of the entire team dedicates the Trent Bridge victory to Kerala flood victims."
Over 82,000 people were rescued as multiple rescue agencies including NDRF and Indian Army have shifted people from flooded areas to the several rescue camps. |
