| FCS&CA conducts drive, imposes fine | | |

Udhampur, Aug 23: As per the instructions of Ravinder Kumar Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, a team of Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department headed by Gain Chand Khajuria Assistant Director FCS&CA Department and others member conducted a special drive in different areas of district.
Checking of prices and qualities of various commodities conducted and fine of Rs 17300 was imposed on the violators for not displaying the prices of essential commodities and also who were using domestic gas cylinders for the commercial purposes and also issued a strict warning to various shop keepers to strictly observe the directions being issued from time to time and to ensure that no violation of display of prices act as well as overcharging is committed by them and it was also directed that legal action shall also be taken against violators besides imposing the fine and cash penalties
