Katra, Aug 23: In continutation to the drive against the thieves, Katra police today arrested a motorbike lifter and recovered five stolen motorbikes.
Police identified the arrested thief as Ravi Kumar alias Kaka of Kundrorian, Katra. Police spokesman said that motorcycles bearing registration numbers JK02AW-8533, JK20-0749, JK20-6582, JK02AG-9121 and JK20-5920 have been recovered on his disclosure which were stolen by him and accordingly cases registered under FIR/Nos 172 /18, FIR No.173/18, FIR no. 177/18, FIR no. 178/18 and FIR no. 180/18 were worked out.
The arrest were made by SHO Katra Inspector Surinder Pal Singh under the supervision of SDPO Katra Vivek Shekher, ASP Katra Naresh Singh and SSP Reasi Nisha Nathyal. |
