JAMMU, Aug 23: Dogra Sangathan today staged a protest demonstration against the UEED department for its failure to upkeep the city nallahs. Hundreds of Dogra Sangathan activists led by their vice president Reena gathered near Press Club of Jammu to lodge protest against the UEED department for not listening to the demands of the general public.
Raisinglogans against UEED department, the protesters demanded to cover nallahas in Shakti Nagar area.
They appealed the Governor to direct the concerned department to cover the open nallahas. While addressing the media, the vice president of the Sangathan Reena said that the residents of Shakti Nagar are suffering a lot due to the negligence of the UEED department. |
