| Swachhta Pakhwara concludes at Salal Power Station | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 31: Swachh Bharat Pakhwara which was being observed at Salal Power Station concluded with Prize Distribution function, organised at Jyotipuram. The function was presided over by Himanshu Shekhar, General Manager, Salal Power Station who congratulated the winners of various competitions like Essay Writing Competition among students / employees, Painting Competition among the students and Swachhta Competition among Complexes / Offices organised during Swachh Bharat Pakhwara. Rakesh Goel, Chief Engineer (Civil), Seraphina Lakra, Sr. Manager (HR), Senior Officers from NHPC, teachers and students were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Shekhar said that Swachhta Campaigns should not be limited to Pakhwaras only but a continual process for achieving the desired results. He further stressed the need for cleanliness of mind and inner soul for success of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan launched by Prime Minister of India. He said that healthy living not only depends on physical cleanliness but a clean mind in a clean environment as well because this is clean mind only which can think positive, develop cheerful and positive environment at school, work place as well as at home and helps possession of virtues like helpful attitude, humility, compassion and constructive thoughts. |
