Jammu, Aug 31: The Dogra Swabhiman Sangathan under the leadership of its founder chairman and Basohli MLA Choudhary Lal Singh on Thursday took out a bike rally in support of its demand for a state holiday on the birth anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh.
The supporters shouted slogans in support of their demand for a holiday on the birth anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh, the last Dogra ruler of J&K.
"The people of Jammu province have been victimised by the Kashmir-centric governments for the last 70 years. The Services Selection Board has also played a partisan role and maximum employment was given to the people from the Kashmir valley, leaving the deserving youth of Jammu province in the lurch," Lal Singh told reporters. |
