| Security guard arrested for murder of Krimchi temple's watchman | | | Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Sept 1: A Security Guard of SIS Civil Security Guard deployed at Pandav Temple, Krimchi Udhampur shot dead the chowkidar (watchman) of the temple with 12 bore gun.
According to sources, during the intervening night Security Guard of Pandav temple, Krimchi identified as Sagar Singh of Krimchi, who belongs to SIS Civil Security Guard shot dead chowkidar identified as Rakesh Kumar, son of Suram Chand alias Raju, 35, of Ramnagar with his 12 bore gun. After hearing the gun shot, panic gripped the area. Locals informed the police about the incident after which it rushed to the spot where Rakesh Kumar was lying in a pool of blood and had died. Police took the dead body in their custody and took it to District Hospital Udhampur for autopsy.
Meanwhile, police made hectic efforts to nab the culprit, who had fled after committing the crime. Police finally managed to arrest the culprit and booked him under law. |
