Today these employees held protest demonstration under the banner of PWD(R&B) Casual Labourers & Need Based Workers Union and raised slogans in favour of their demnds and against the government.
These workers have been demanding implementation of SRO 520 of 2017, their regularization, and release of 10 months pending wages on new rate as per SRO 460 issued under endorsement No: L&E/Lab/88/2000, dt 26-10-2017 through separate Wages Head created for the purpose.
