| Stop harassing SSA, RMSA teachers: Manohar | | | | JAMMU, Sept 1: Senior Congress leader & former minister Dr Manohar Lal Sharma today addressed media and said that government shall take strong cognizance of the demands of agitating SSA and RMSA teachers. Dr Sharma said that it is very unfortunate that the previous BJP-PDP government had always taken a casual approach for the issues concerned with various departments and even teachers, who are the building blocks of nation have to agitate for their genuine demands. This not only sends a wrong message in the society but also questions the approach of previous government in handling grievances of the people. Dr Sharma supported the regularization of teachers, delinking of SSA salary, and implementation of seventh pay commission for the SSA & RMSA employees. He said that these employees are working hard along with other teachers and it is neither fair nor humane to discriminate them by not listening to their demands. Dr Sharma further state that government should also address the long pending genuine demands of NRHM FMPHW, doctors and paramedical staff including regularization and salary anomalies. |
