| ARTO Poonch office headless, people suffer | | | Rajesh Tandon

POONCH, Sept 1: The post of Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) Poonch lying vacant as a replacement after the transfer of the then incumbent Abdul Raheem has not been sent yet.
With no ARTO at Poonch, the transporters as well as the general public is suffering.
According to sources, people from different parts of the district visit ARTO office on daily basis to get their various works done but in the absence of ARTO nothing is possible. Locals including transporters and political leaders have appealed to governor Satya Pal Malik to provide new ARTO for Poonch at an earliest. |
